Maneri~Agraz Selected by Kingsville Naval Air Station
Major Energy Efficient Lighting Upgrade to begin next month
Houston— (October, 2010)—Maneri~Agraz LLC, an energy efficient lighting firm 
based in Houston, Texas announced today that they have won a major contract with Kingsville Naval Air Station. Maneri~Agraz has performed work for other United States government facilities in the past, however it has always been via a subcontract relationship. This contract marks the first time that the firm has been selected as the prime contractor with the U.S. government. This installation will be our most complex to date, incorporating state of the art control systems and daylight harvesting features.”
The contract includes both interior and exterior lighting of the aircraft hangers located at the Naval Air Station. Induction lighting technology will be installed around the exterior perimeter of the hangers and T5HO linear fluorescent high bay lighting will replace the existing HID system. Encelium’s addressable lighting control and energy management system will be integrated into the lighting system providing additional energy saving benefits to the Air Station via daylight harvesting, occupancy control, photo control, and complete remote desktop control via the internet.

The company serves the large commercial and industrial market, and specializes in the design and installation of energy efficient lighting projects. These projects typically deliver a very attractive return on investment for their clients and reduce energy costs related to the lighting systems by 50% or more. Maneri~Agraz identifies and administers utility rebates for their clients that offset costs of installation by as much as 20%-40%. Maneri~Agraz also helps their clients capture EPACT 2005 federal tax deductions that allows for accelerated depreciation of up to $0.60 per square foot of qualified space.
