Tropicana Case Study

15th June 2011 | Lighting Case Studies

Tropicana selected the Maneri~Agraz team of lighting professionals to provide energy efficient lighting retrofits in their three main manufacturing facilities in Florida and New Jersey.

Each of these facilities received comprehensive lighting retrofits of the offices, manufacturing and warehouse facilities providing improved lighting and high return on investment.

Office areas were retrofit with 28 watt T8 lamps and 3rd generation high efficiency ballasts. Warehouse areas were converted from HID systems to T5HO linear fluorescent systems with sensors that turn fixtures off when the space is unoccupied, providing approximately 70% energy savings.

Cold storage areas retrofit with new state of the art LED high bay lighting that also incorporated occupancy sensors that would dim some fixtures and turn others completely off when the spaces were unoccupied.

Manufacturing areas were converted from HID to T5HO linear fluorescent vapor tight fixtures providing 50% energy savings.

Thank you for all your efforts during the lighting installation at our Tropicana facility in Ft. Pierce, Florida. The energy efficient lighting luminaires and controls installed in the tank farms has made a huge difference to the environment, providing higher quality foot-candles and substantial energy savings. Our staff has had nothing but good things to say about the way your firm went about its business in a very professional manner.
Your team finished the project ahead of schedule and there were zero punch list items when the crew left the facility. Thank you for a job well done.
